Clericuzio, Nick & Tony's brother, has joined Long Hill Hair
are extremely happy to announce that Phil Clericuzio, Nick and Tony's
brother, has joined Long Hill Hair Stylists on September 2,
2010. Phil, the former owner and operator of Merritt Barber Shop in
Bridgeport, CT, closed up his shop on August 28, 2010 and decided to
join us on a part-time basis. Nick and
Tony have welcomed Phil with open arms, and Phil is excited to once
again work with his brothers. This is the first time since they
immigrated to the U.S. that all
three brothers are working in the same barber shop. The last time
they worked together was 52 years ago in their father's shop in Italy.
Phil welcomes his old customers, as well as new
customers, to his new location.
Trumbull native & longtime customer Chris Drury for
winning the silver medal in the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics hockey
gold medal game!
congratulate Trumbull native Chris Drury and his
fellow teammates on the U.S. hockey team for winning the silver medal
in their valiant and exciting
effort against Canada in the gold medal game at the 2010 Vancouver
Winter Olympics. Chris is currently the captain of
the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League (NHL). As a child,
he and his little league teammates became hometown and national heroes
when they won
the Little League Baseball World Series Championship in 1989. Chris and
his family are longtime customers of our shop. Not only
is Chris a very talented all-around athlete, he's also an all-around
nice guy too! We are very proud of him and his achievements.
to our wonderful & generous customers, Nick delivered $9,000 to
L'Aquila, Italy for its post-earthquake rebuilding efforts!
is thrilled to report that he raised close to $9,000 in the Spring and
Summer of 2009 from his Wednesday afternoon sales proceeds, as
well as from additional generous customer contributions. During
his trip to
Italy in September 2009, Nick personally delivered these funds to both
Archbishop of L'Aquila and the director of the L'Aquila Don Bosco
Salesian Oratory Boys & Girls Club. The funds will be used to
rebuild churches and the Don Bosco Boys & Girls Club building
which were destroyed by the earthquake that ravaged the city
of L'Aquila in April 2009. All this would not be possible without the
patronage and generosity of our many wonderful customers. From the
bottom of our heart, we cannot thank our customers enough!! More photos from
Nick's trip to L'Aquila are posted on our Facebook page (See link
