Santa Rita da CasciaNick visited Italy in May 2017 to deliver a $15,000 donation to the Santuario di Santa Rita da Cascia in Cascia, Italy in support of their orphanage. The Santuario (sanctuary/monastery), located in the earthquake-ravaged area of the Umbria region in Italy, was damaged during the strong earthquake that occurred in August 2016. Santa Rita in Cascia hosts about 60 boys and girls in need of assistance and help. Nick raised the funds by working on Wednesdays, normally his day off, for nine months. All of his Wednesday sales proceeds, as well as additional generous customer donations, went towards the fund. Nick wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of his wonderful customers for their patronage and generosity in raising these funds. For more information on Santuario di Santa Rita, you can visit their website at www.santaritadacascia.org/en/.
Phil's Last Day at Work
Phil has retired from barbering as of December 31, 2016. Although we will miss working side-by-side with our beloved brother, we wish him all the best during his retirement. We hope he'll come to visit us from time-to-time and play the mandolin for us and our customers.

"Nick Clericuzio, owner of Long Hill Hair Stylists, smiles with long-time customer Vincent Zujewski after completing a haircut on June 27. Zujewski, a member of Trumbull High School’s Class of 1968, has been going to Clericuzio’s barbershop since he was 16 years old. His most recent cut, which he will wear to his daughter’s wedding in California this month, marked the 50-year anniversary since his first trim at Long Hill Hairstylists in 1966."

Thanks to our wonderful & generous customers, Nick delivered $9,000 to L'Aquila, Italy for its post-earthquake rebuilding efforts!
Nick presents a check to the director of the Don Bosco Boys & Girls Club in L'AquilaNick is thrilled to report that he raised close to $9,000 in the Spring and Summer of 2009 from his Wednesday afternoon sales proceeds, as well as from additional generous customer contributions. During his trip to Italy in September 2009, Nick personally delivered these funds to both the Archbishop of L'Aquila and the director of the L'Aquila Don Bosco Salesian Oratory Boys & Girls Club. The funds will be used to rebuild churches and the Don Bosco Boys & Girls Club building which were destroyed by the earthquake that ravaged the city of L'Aquila in April 2009. All this would not be possible without the patronage and generosity of our many wonderful customers. From the bottom of our heart, we cannot thank our customers enough!! More photos from Nick's trip to L'Aquila are posted on our Facebook page (See link below).
